We’ve heard many albums born during the pandemic recently dealing with topics such as isolation and fear. The Viagra Boys went a different route on their new album “Cave World” - our Record of the Day. It’s a satire about the bizarre outcomes of recent years such as conspiracy theories that seem to be getting more outrageous by the minute. Because they are a great band they make the madness we’re living in sound like great fun. The songs are strong enough that they would work with any subject matter. Punk rock at the core but with infectious grooves. It’s kinda like a great late night show that makes you laugh so you don’t have to cry.
