A Wilhelm Scream - Lose Your Delusion
It took A Wilhelm Scream nearly a decade to follow up 2013’s “Partycrasher”, but their new album “Lose Your Delusion” was well worth the wait. While many punk bands opt for simplicity, they have never shied away from some serious shredding. But the songs always come first. This album is intensely heavy and fast for the most part, but at the same time gloriously melodic without ever veering into poppy territory. The amount of ideas they pack into this collection of songs is amazing. There’s constant twists and turns and the energy level stays high throughout - never a dull moment.
