Venom Prison - Erebos
Venom Prison lent the title of their album “Erebos” from Greek Mythology. Erebos is the personification of darkness, born from chaos. And chaotic it could get when a band mixes so many different elements of extreme music and stirs them up as relentlessly as they do on this brilliant record. At the core this is death metal, but you’ll hear some hardcore, some blackened riffing, some technical guitar wizardry, even some piano and clean singing. Venom Prison always remain the masters of the potential chaos, letting all these different aspects of their music flow naturally while never losing their edge. An early highlight of the metal year.
