The Muslims - Fuck These Fuckin Fascists
With an album title like “Fuck These Fuckin Fascists” and a cover showing John Lydon (I’m guessing) getting punched in the face, The Muslims certainly grabbed our attention, but we don’t add an album to our list without the music backing it up. Luckily, it does. This is straight-up, aggressive, political punk. The Muslims are mad at a lot of things and they’re not subtle about it, but what makes this album even more enjoyable is that they don’t shy away from being flat-out silly at times (see album closer “John McCain’s Ghost Sneaks Into The White House And Tea Bags The President”). It lightens up the album without taking away the very serious messages. Punk’s certainly not dead.
