Cinderella - Heartbreak Station
Cinderella - Heartbreak Station
Because Cinderella got lumped in with Hair Metal (and certainly looked the part early in their career) people tend to overlook the fact that they were an absolutely amazing Hard Rock band. While their first album had the typical 80’s rock sound and its predecessor showed their Blues roots more openly, “Heartbreak Station” harked back to influences from the Stones and early Aerosmith - to name a few. It’s their most underrated album. It showed how versatile they were, unafraid to include various styles while still sounding like themselves, in part due to Tom Kiefer’s unmistakable voice. One of their finest moments.
