Certainly one of the most electrifying performers of any decade, Sebastian Bach is set to releases ANGEL DOWN, his first solo album in eight years. The 14-song ANGEL DOWN was produced by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, ROB HALFORD, JUDAS PRIEST), and recorded in July and August 2006 at Sound City Studios in Hollywood, CA. Joining Bach in the studio for ANGEL DOWN were guitarists "Metal" Mike Chlasciak and Johnny Chromatic, and Bobby Jarzombek on drums, all long-time members of Bach's touring band, as well as Rob DeLuca on bass. Nine of the 14 songs on this album were written or co-written by Bach including the first radio track, "(Love Is) a Bitchslap" (co-written with Roy Z).
Reviews:
We’re sure Sebastian’s bummed that Bret Michaels beat him to the world of tawdry nationally televised dating trainwrecks, but the still svelte caterwauler hasn’t exactly been on (stop us, please) skid row lately. We saw Baz join Guns N’ Roses onstage in England last summer for a surprisingly kickass rendition of "My Michelle," and he’s using the momentum to his advantage. His first solo effort in eight years features Axl himself backing up "(Love Is) a Bitchslap."
